I bought this book for my two great grandson for their birthdays. Both are seven and they just love this book.
I bought this book for my son and his reading group in his 1st grade classroom. They all loved the story! He wants me to get the rest of the series for him!

Maddie and Atticus are junior volunteers at the Lymesport Aquarium of Maine. Maddie is only 10 years old and she’s been able to touch a sea urchin and clean out an octopus tank. Now the aquarium is launching a “Save Sea Animals – Keep Our Beaches Clean†campaign and she and Atticus must arrive early. But, before they go they discover a mess in the yard. Someone has spilled trash everywhere and left it. As a matter of fact, it keeps happening daily. The two see this as a mystery to be solved. At the cove, Maddie and Atticus have another mystery to solve when they discover that a pod of dolphins seemed to be panicking about something. They ask for help from their Dad to decipher what the dolphin clicks, and whistles could be. My almost 9 year old 3rd grader has been loving every graphic novel she can get her hands on. I got her this book as a surprise gift because although a traditional "chapter book" it has plenty of interesting pictures (which is why she's having a hard time moving from graphic novel to traditional chapter book). After the 1st night of reading this book she immediately asked me to add "Farm Friends Escape!" to her birthday wish list. I hope they come out with more in this series!! I know my kindergartener will be reading these next year!
my 7 year old son loved this and read the whole thing in one night because he couldn't put it down! he wants to get the other's in the series! he usually will only read non-fiction, so i was glad to find these!
